Vital Communities, 1998-1999
Vital Communities is a non-profit organization that grew out of the Upper Valley 2001 and Beyond project. The organization's goals are to foster engaged citizens and vital communities in the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. Vital Communities hosts town-wide forums and other activities to explore the vitality of communities and plan action projects in response to local, citizen-identified needs.
