Peer Partners in Environmental Education, 1999-2000

Peer Partners is a Los Angeles outreach program that trains high school and middle school students to give presentations on environmental topics to elementary students at local partner schools and on National Public Radio. In addition, young adults, including youth-at-risk groups, were teamed with the California Conservation Corps to give presentations about oil recycling to high school students. In the year 2000, the program was expanded to include college students at the University of California at Los Angeles.
