North Street Nature Park, 1995

North Street Nature Park Trail Nature in the City.
It used to be a bare parcel of city-owned land. Now North Street Nature Park is a wetland and wildlife-education park with a meandering trail and interpretive signs to help visitors learn about the plants, insects, and animals that make their homes right in the city of Keene. ANEI collaborated with the Keene Housing Authority, the City of Keene, and AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region to make it happen. AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region has since created an AIDS Memorial Garden within the Park and taken the initiative on the Park's upkeep.
