Best Schools Initiative, 2000

The Best Schools Initiative, a program of the New Hampshire Department of Education, brought together teams of teachers, parents, business leaders, administrators and students to develop long-term improvement goals for schools. The program's goals included using technology as a teaching tool, creating high quality learning environments, ensuring that students are ready to learn and strengthening community-school connections. ANEI staff facilitated the work of these teams in four of the state's designated Best Schools.
