Degree Confirmations
Graduates
We would be happy to confirm the conferral of your degree for prospective employers, licensing and certification boards, and others. In order for us to release personal information about you, however, we need your permission in writing. Please Please email (through First Class only to Registrar Office ANE), mail, or fax us a request with your signature, listing the name and address of the person to whom you would like the information released.
Finishing Degree Students
Many students complete their last semester and seek employment prior to actually graduating. Though spring (May) finishers have their degrees formally conferred in July, summer semester finishers have their degrees formally conferred in November, and fall finishers have their degrees conferred in April, degrees are considered earned when all requirements are completed.
Completion of degree and certification requirements means that all necessary practicum/internship verification sheets, credit awards for courses, waivers, and approved advanced standing forms (if applicable) are in the Registrar’s Office, have been recorded in your record, and a degree audit has been done on your file.
If you need proof that you will be eligible for conferral of your degree upon completion of outstanding course work you may request a Registered for Degree Requirements Letter from our office. Like transcript requests, they must be presented in writing, listing the name and address of the recipient.
Once we’ve verified all requirements have been satisfied, we can send a Degree Completion Letter, stating your degree has been earned and will be officially conferred on the next conferral date.
