Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Requirement

Antioch University New England does not require the GRE for its master’s degree programs except for those applying to the MBA in Organizational and Environmental Sustainability.

The GRE is not required of applicants to the Doctoral Program in Environmental Studies.

We do require the GRE for every applicant to the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (both General Test and Psychology Subject Test)and the Doctoral Program in Marriage & Family Therapy (just the General Test).

We use the GRE results as one way of assessing academic promise. While we do not have have an explicit cut-off score, if GRE scores are less than 1,000, there certainly needs to be other strong evidence of academic promise.

GRE scores over five years old cannot be considered. Please send official GRE score reports to the Office of Admission at Antioch New England. Our institutional code is (98)3694.
