Application Process - PsyD Clinical Psychology
Download Application Materials Application CriteriaAntioch University New England's PsyD application criteria attend to the evaluation of the whole person. Attending to ability and potential, we rate each of the following areas equally: academic promise; personal and interpersonal competence; and clinical and professional promise. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is used to assess academic promise. All applicants, including those with graduate or undergraduate degrees in psychology, must take the GRE general tests and the psychology subject test. Note: The GRE psychology subject test is only offered three times a year: April, October, and November. Applicants should be sure to register as early as possible. Please check with www.gre.org for registration details. Candidates for admission to the PsyD Program generally fall into three categories: those with bachelor's degrees; those with master's degrees in psychology, human services, or related fields; and those with graduate degrees not directly in psychology (for example, law, nursing, or theater).
