Welcome to Antioch University New England ; a distinctive educational institution offering rigorous, socially relevant graduate programs that help our students and alumni make lasting contributions to creating a better world.

AUNE has many core characteristics that provide a powerful resource for today’s students and tomorrow’s professionals.  First and foremost, however, are the campuses’ wonderful faculty and staff.  I believe that an institution’s people are its heart and soul, and in that case Antioch University New England has a very strong heart and soul indeed.  Our alumni and friends throughout the country can be very proud of our current faculty and staff as stewards of this great institution.

Since our founding in 1964, AUNE has had a tradition of developing new programs that creatively address pressing societal needs.  From our first program in 1964, designed to prepare educators to work with disadvantaged students, to creation of the first graduate degree in environmental studies in 1970, AUNE has consistently pioneered cutting edge programs of study.  More recently, our autism spectrum disorders programs, MBA in Sustainability, and the new sustainable development and climate change concentration continue the tradition of creating innovative programs to prepare professionals to make a positive difference.

Academic excellence at AUNE doesn’t stop at the classroom door.  All of our graduate programs feature in-depth community engagement through a wide variety of practica and internship opportunities.  Faculty and student scholarship and research are also intertwined with community service and focus on solutions to real world problems.

Because education at AUNE is rooted in practical experience, our alumni enter their professions capable of being leaders of change to create a more just and sustainable society.  Please visit our campus in Keene any time to learn more about this powerful and engaged community of learners.  Our students and faculty look forward to meeting you.
