Alan Popp

Alan PoppAlan Popp is the CEO of Mason-Wright Foundation in Springfield, MA. Mason-Wright is a private operating foundation whose mission is to provide housing and services to the elderly poor through assisted living, independent living and dementia care.

Previously, Alan served for seven years as Head of School/CEO at White Mountain School in Bethlehem, NH, a college preparatory school serving students from 20 states and 12 countries. He went to WMS directly from his own consulting practice where, over seventeen years, he served approximately 200 non-profit clients, providing counsel in leadership, planning, communications and philanthropy.

Alan is a 1999 graduate of Antioch University New England's Management program, where he was fortunate to have Trustees Martha Summerville and Ed Tomey as professors. He lives in Gilmanton, NH with his wife, Cindy. They have two sons: Ryan, an engineer in pipeline design; and Ethan, a conductor on- and off-Broadway.

Alan has been active on many New Hampshire boards, including United Way, Easter Seals, NH Charitable Foundation and Delta Dental plan. In Massachusetts, he serves on the board of Alzheimer's Association, Salvation Army and Springfield Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he chaired the Principles of Good Practice Committee for The Association of Boarding Schools.
