Jon Greenberg
At NHPR, Jon develops and manages topical coverage initiatives. He has a special focus on investigative reporting and providing expanded opportunities for citizen participation. Jon has created many projects that integrate radio and web journalism, a recent example being the NHPR project on the Great Recession called Working It Out. In the course of a year, hundreds of students at community colleges across the state posted their firsthand descriptions of the state of the economy on NHPR's web site and many of those stories were broadcast over NHPR. Prior to coming to New Hampshire, Jon was a Washington reporter at NPR for half a dozen years; his investigative work from that time appeared in the Washington Post. He has degrees from Johns Hopkins University, Syracuse University and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Jon has presented at conferences across the country and has lectured in China and Romania, the latter under the Fulbright program. He is married and has two children.
