Perry is currently Vice President of Human Resources at C&S Wholesale Grocers in Keene, NH. She is the fourth generation to work in her family’s business. In her current role Perry is responsible for leadership development and career path planning. She has held several positions at C&S starting as a selector in the warehouses and progressing on to Vice President of Operations for the West Coast. In conjunction with her work at C&S, Perry is a doctoral student at the University of Maryland in the Department of Physical Cultural Studies. Her work there focuses on the role of sport and physical activity as a tool of social control and in the maintenance and reproduction of social class habitus. Perry completed her M.S. in Sport Administration at the University of New Mexico and her B.A. in Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of the women’s soccer and rugby teams. She has taught Sport in American Society and Women in Sport at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Perry has presented papers at national and international conferences and has published a book chapter.
Before returning to school to pursue graduate study, Perry taught History and Photography at the Darrow School where she also served as Assistant Director of Athletics, tutor, dorm parent, advisor, and soccer coach.
Perry lives in West Chesterfield, NH with her partner Brooke, their twin children Tobin and Neko, and their dog, Baxter. In her free time Perry can be found running, riding her bike or in the backcountry on her telemark skis.
