A Critical Skills Institute is truly an immersion into a Critical Skills Classroom. Under the guidance and leadership of Master Teachers, participating educators experience all dimensions of the model firsthand. The Level II Institutes focus on enhancing design skills for crafting increasingly sophisticated challenges, using more comprehensive strategies for assessing student competencies, skills, and curricular standards, and examining the role of the teacher as a facilitator, guiding students through experiential learning and the reflection process.
