Psychology, Counseling and Therapy Programs

AUNE’s psychology degree programs are structured to accommodate the needs of a wide range of students. In any of these areas, clinical experiences start early in your program to support the strong educational foundation you build in the classroom.

Clinical experience is undamental to our PsyD in Clinical Psychology. In addition to the required fifth year of off-site internship, you are encouraged to undertake practica in the second, third and/or fourth year. Work with HIV-affected children in South Africa. Help counsel people affected by natural disasters in places like Haiti and New Orleans. Collaborate with primary care physicians to counsel cardiac patients. These are just some examples of the internships and practica open to AUNE students.
