Program Participants

Program participants come from a range of backgrounds and educational experience. Participants are currently working, or have significant life and work experience upon entering the program. The following illustrates the typical range of backgrounds of program participants:

  • Experienced professionals from for-profit and not-for-profit sectors who are new to the OD profession and wish to become consultants, or want to acquire greater knowledge of OD theory and application.
  • Early- to mid-career internal and external consultants or Human Resources staff who may be asking: ’How does OD enhance my skills?’, ’Am I an OD consultant?’
  • Those with a range of educational and work backgrounds who want to acquire OD skills, including:
    • MBA’s
    • social scientists
    • education professionals
    • board members
    • executive directors
    • managers
    • human resources staff
  • Psychology graduates or graduate students who are looking to develop professional options in the organizational development field.
