RMC Faculty-Student Research Project Opportunities (08/09)

Research projects in Resource Management and Conservation not only provide real-world experience important for a résumé, but may also lead to full-term employment with associated stakeholder individuals or organizations. The EPA's Oyster River project, for example, employs two former RMC students as key project researchers.

Project directors choose student researchers based upon a review of résumés, and sometimes a follow-up interview. Specific tasks and research projects are oriented to different levels of student preparation, but students should generally have one semester of program work completed so as to have a better understanding of other requirements, and how a research project might affect coursework. Research projects can sometimes be used as practicum experience.

Current students interested in any of the projects below should contact the faculty member listed in the project details.
